• Payment information when you buy a plan. Card details are handled directly by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
• Usage and study data such as your practice answers, scores, progress, streaks, planner entries, and any posts you make in discussion areas.
• Technical information such as your device type, browser, and basic logs that help us keep the service secure and working.

We use your information to:

• provide the platform, including your account, study progress, and personalised features
• process payments and manage your plan and entitlements
• provide AI assisted tutoring and marking features where you choose to use them
• keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems
• respond to your questions and provide support
• send you service messages, and, where you have agreed, occasional updates

Under UK data protection law we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you, to provide the platform you have signed up for; our legitimate interests, to keep the service secure and to improve it; your consent, for any optional marketing; and compliance with our legal obligations, for example for accounting records.

We share data with trusted providers who help us run the platform. These include our authentication provider for sign in, our payment provider for billing, our hosting and infrastructure provider, and an artificial intelligence provider that powers our tutoring and marking features. Each handles your data on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we take steps to ensure your data is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the arrangements recognised under UK data protection law.

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. We may keep certain records for longer where the law requires, for example records relating to payments.

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
• object to or ask us to restrict certain processing
• ask for your data in a portable format
• withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the platform, for example to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. Where we use any non essential cookies, we will ask for your consent.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to reduce the risk and to respond quickly if a problem arises.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
